The cottage is located on a country estate with far reaching views over the Lammermuir Hills. It is the perfect base for exploring the countryside and beaches of East Lothian and yet close enough to Edinburgh to enjoy all that it has to offer.
The cottage offers the ultimate in comfort and quality, and is perfect for both couples and famillies.
If you are looking for peace and quiet and five star luxury where your dog is welcome too, Daffodil Cottage may well be your perfect retreat.
Dogs Allowed

There is a log burning stove for cooler evenings.

There is a private garden to the side of the cottage, as well as a patio, leading off the kitchen.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 4. In addition to this, there is room for a camp bed and/or a cot.

Sky TV is available for those special sporting moments.
Decorated in a country cottage style
Daffodil Cottage is a spacious and light two bedroom cottage that comfortably sleeps four in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. It is decorated throughout in calming neutrals from Farrow and Ball, with pretty floral and gingham fabrics.
The double bedroom, with a supremely comfortable bed (which is much commented on!) is spacious and there is plenty of room for a cot or a camp bed in this room. We can supply both of these for your stay. The second bedroom, decorated in fresh blues, has twin beds and overlooks the front of the cottage. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. The kitchen, with seating for four, has a stable door out to the patio and overlooks the garden to the side of the cottage.
There is a log burning stove in the sitting room for cooler evenings. There is a BBQ in the shed to use on the patio for warmer evenings! For those wanting to keep up with sporting events or just relax with a film in front of the log burning stove, there is Sky TV.
We have thought of everything
We want to make your stay more comfortable and always provide a Welcome Basket for your arrival so that you don't have to head straight to the shops. There is also a Nespresso machine, as well as a microwave for convenience.
