Situated in the beautiful countryside of East Lothian
The cottage is close to beautiful sandy beaches, many golf courses, as well as being only 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre by car and only 15 minutes from North Berwick by car.
Haddington
Haddington is the nearest market town where you will find everything you need in the local shops and Tesco’s, as well as various cafes and restaurants.
North Berwick
North Berwick is a seaside town, boasting great beaches and coastal scenery, and the Scottish Seabird Centre. It offers striking views out to the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock, with Tantallon Castle lying to the east.
It is home to an eclectic mix of shops, cafes and bars, including classic fish and chip shops (that also sell freshly caught lobster) and ice cream parlours, as well as quirky tearooms, trendy coffee shops and an array of creative, boutique and independent shopping experiences. There’s plenty to keep you entertained, with boat trips around the local islands, putting greens, playgrounds, tennis courts and other sporting activities, with world renowned golf courses very nearby.
Getting Around
Edinburgh airport is 45 minutes by car. Longniddry train station is only 10 minutes by car and from here the train only takes 20 minutes to the centre of Edinburgh.
